When regular congregational worship ended in 2018, Sheffield Methodist Circuit began listening for a new purpose rooted in welcome, community connection, wellbeing and faith.

Families, students, climbers, neighbours, local churches, volunteers and organisations around Broomhill.
What are we doing together?
Mini Broomhill, Broomhill Climbing Works, Climbing Church, community events, room hire and local partnerships offer different ways to enter the life of the centre. The activities matter in themselves, but they also make space for friendships, mutual support, volunteering, spiritual curiosity and new ideas shaped with local people.
What are we hoping for next?
We hope people will be able to move naturally from visitor to familiar face, from participant to volunteer or leader, and—if they wish—from curiosity to deeper faith. We want new activities and expressions of church to grow through listening, partnership and the gifts already present in Broomhill.
